At Allen Orthopedic Labs, we operate by appointment only and request that you call to schedule a time to meet with us. Your appointment length will vary depending on whether you are seeing us for orthotic or prosthetic needs and on the scope of services being provided.
We believe in quality care and thus never rush a patient or compromise care. If we do expect a delay, we will do our best to notify you prior to your arrival. If you are unable to make your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible.
What to Expect
When you call our office to schedule an appointment, we will ask for your insurance information, what your diagnosis is, referring physician’s name, what item your physician is prescribing, and whether you have a written prescription advising what needs to be provided. We will then schedule an appointment time.
Please plan on arriving 10-15 minutes early to fill out any forms that are needed.
Finding and participating in a support group is just one way for you to address some of the life changes brought on by an amputation or ailment.
Support groups help you realize you are not alone and that many other people struggle with similar problems. Likewise, you may learn new ways of dealing with those problems.
